Mariah and David’s wedding took us road tripping back to my stomping grounds of good ole’ George, Iowa!! This wedding was extra special for us as Mariah is my cousin and their wedding took place in the church I grew up in! It was so fun for me to go back and drive around the town with a new agenda in mind- to find beautiful backdrops for their portraits! We scored big finding a lovely row of blossoming trees right next to the town’s car wash! The most lovely portrait locations are often in odd places and this was sure one of them! I’m thankful for David and Mariah for trusting me and just going with it! Another thing I loved is that Mariah decided to make a veil just to use for an under-the-veil shot!! Isn’t that amazing!? She’s totally my kinda girl.. well, I mean, she is my cousin and we are similar in a lot of ways so it shouldn’t surprise me!
Thank you David and Mariah for letting us capture your wedding day! Your love and commitment for each other is clearly evident and we pray your marriage would draw you both closer to Jesus! Hope you enjoy some of our favorites from your wedding day!!
A big thanks to the amazing vendors that helped make this day happen!
