I’m so excited to share with you the wedding day of Mel and Brandon! Their day was so absolutely beautiful! The morning began with frost-covered trees and by the afternoon, the sun had come out and it was a “warm” and calm winter day! A perfect forecast for outdoor winter portraits!

Brandon and Mel are high school sweethearts so they have been with each other to celebrate the highlights of their high school years as well as to comfort each other during the hard seasons. Recently, one of those hard seasons occurred as Mel’s dad, Tom, suffered from a stroke. Brandon was right there by Mel’s side to walk her through this trying season. So it was extra special to watch Tom escort his daughter down the aisle to give her away to Brandon, a man Tom knows he can trust to take care of his daughter. I, as well as all of their wedding guests, could not hold back the tears while witnessing this beautiful and special moment. I’m so grateful he could be there to celebrate with his daughter one of the best days of her life!
