The casual and cozy vibe of the Strand’s in-home newborn session has my heart. It’s sweet, simple and feels just right for this family as they just recently moved into a farmhouse that has been in their family for many of years. Poly is an amazing photographer herself so I’m extra grateful she entrusted me to capture her crew. Her sweet mama even made me a delicious lunch which was such a treat and she made me feel right at home! I learned that it is standard in Brazil for your mother to come and take care of you and the baby, cook, clean and do all the laundry in the first few months!! I would LOVE to see this become a normal in America! Isn’t that just amazing?!!
